Well, in the shorter term, the .mht file contents
only have to stick around long enough for me to print
the document out, should it merit this. I have some
faith in low tech solutions. Then all you need is a
good file cabinet.

I think you just answered Martin's question, and that
you might be referring to the full Acrobat creator
package ? That must be why even the "academic"
version goes for about 3 bills. I do have GhostView,
but have only given it the lightest use.

btw, Brian, getting back a bit more to topic, is that
project to scan the Xy manual still moving forward ?
