Recently a user was privately moaning that we are developing
Win32 utilities in U2 primarily for WinNT, and that these
sometimes don't work in Win9x.

I guess that would mean giving up my beloved 4DOS? I don't think I could live without its KEYSTACK feature, which allows you to simulate in a batch file the user having typed a key on the keyboard. E.g., if you want to put a

del *.*

into a batch file, you can avoid having to hit the resulting "y" to confirm.
