#Saving XyW S/G

Xywrite allows users to edit Save/Get macros on disk. A note on page 2-47 of
the manual explains the procedure as:
>SAVE %A
thereby saving the contents of Save/Get A to A.SAV. That works. However, each
time I edit a Save/Get using this procedure, I also get an "Error Writing to
Disk" message?
Do any of our resident XyW mavens have any idea why?
