Re: XyWin on XP revisited




Is there some way of updating the Win98 that I have? I would
really like to be able to copy files in and out using a memory stick.
At the moment, I have to use a 3.5 inch disk drive.

True of Win98 Second Edition, and may require a specific "Windows Update" ...
It did on mine, at least ... So I think you're both right: Win98's initial support of
USB was a bit flaky, as I recall, but they straightened it out before the second release.

Win 98 recognizes USB ports. I've run Win 98 boxes from 1999 to this year, and USB mice
and keyboards and storage thingies all worked.
