Whatever I do, I cannot get autoexec.bat to make any difference.
However, having reread the GitHub post, I have created and Environmental
Variable in Windows7 64 bit called 'Path16' and set the value to
"path=D:\XW" where I have installed XW, and it works.
U2 does now work although some of the routines will not run correctly.

My installer is not very intelligent; if it finds C:\XY in your
autoexec.bat file, it isn't smart enough to make sure that the line
actually says:
PATH=C:\XY;%PATH%
which is what it should say. I'll try to fix that in the future (but
will be away all week and can't do anything about it until then).
