Re: OT: Build your own keyboard



It is a little ironic that it was Carl started this thread, because he was the one who converted me to cheap, standard keyboards---like the maybe $30 Logitech keyboard I'm typing this on. 

I had been using Das Keyboards, and before that I had over the years bought and used a couple of Avant Stellars, Northgates, etc. I used to be very picky about N-key rollover and "cherry" this and that, but after Carl's post years back, I thought I would give cheapies a try. I found that once you get used to the cheapies (which takes less than an hour), they're just fine. Maybe I just sold out. :)

I have this Unicomp keyboard.The left function keys are the reason I bought it, and I would buy it again. Glad to see it is still available.
