It is real, but unfortunately the official release was delayed by one day, so April 1 instead of March 31... It is true that there are major improvements to the Tandy subsystem of DOSBox-X in this version, as shown in the changelog (especially on the top part), which is the work of joncampbell123. But there are also many other improvements and fixes, such as those related to TrueType font (TTF) output and menus. After all, DOSBox-X is developed by a team, instead of a single developer. (For those who do not know yet, Tandy is a type of IBM PC compatible computer systems running DOS, and as DOSBox-X is designed to be a complete DOS emulation package, such systems [IBM PC/XT/AT, Tandy, PCjr, PC98] are all supported by DOSBox-X, unlike vDosPlus).
