Getting Vdos/Xy4 to tile in windows

Is there a way to get Xy4 in VdosPlus to respond to Windows tiling 
commands?  I have been using two 4x3 monitors for years but am planning 
to change to a single 16x9 monitor and I would like to be able to run 
XY4 alongside other programs when I need to transcribe material from one 
to the other.  However my experiments on one of my existing monitors 
have been fruitless.  Does anybody have an idea how to achieve this?
