I am still using the EM distro I downloaded a few weeks ago. I would
love to upgrade but I don't, because I don't want to lose the pretty
good working environment I now have.
There are some issues which need to be taken care of (and may already
have been taken care of) regarding power.
1. Dbox can report using a gigantic amount of power, about 74%.
2. Dbox is reported in Activity Monitor as being one of the few
processes to prevent sleep.
3. When I reported earlier that there were intermittent, self-healing
problems with XyWrite giving a date in the future, I said that this
was not affecting file-write dates. I was wrong. It is. If a file is
saved at just the right moment (this usually seems to be immediately
upon waking from sleep), a date a few days in the future will be written.
