Printing from XYDOS in XP

If you have a parallel port printer recognized as a DOS device, e.g., LPT1,
it would be a matter of printing to a "file" which is that device,

e.g.,

typef ,lpt1

If you are using a UPS printer (which will lack a device name recognized by
DOS), it's a two-stage process and requires software such as Rawprint
(Google will find it for you), which Robert Holmgren has recommended here
before. An alternative is the PrintFile software (Google this, too);
PrintFile is recommended by Edward Mendelson on his WordPerfect 5.1 website,

http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/wpdos/

which has some other ideas that may be of use too. The two options I've
mentioned require that you have a fully-capable printer--a "Windows" (i.e.,
Windows only) printer won't work.
