One note, however: the right margin error is apparently restricted to the Garamond font -- I hadn't noted that before. And it's still present, whether printing to PDF on screen or to the printer proper. Must be the driver....

It is documented in the file. It is the line "fb>%!PS-Adobe-2.0 ...
clear". Copy the beginning as is up to clear. The Dosprinter/Ghostpcl
interpreter combo does not recognise PS files without the initial PS
signature.
