Kari,

I would be curious to know how this may be received.  In the past, it has been remarked that the NB constituency is less technically inclined or adept than the membership of this list.  Historically, that possibly hindered certain efforts, such as customizing NB or applying XPL to it.  What with the recent major overhauls of NB, the program may have left the (once ?) core "Xy engine" so far behind that any lineal relationship is now scarcely detectable ?

In order have access to the list archives, I recently subscribed to the
NotaBene List (http://h-net.msu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=notabene).

I brought up the fact that I am still using NB3 which occasioned some
amazement. I had trouble posting messages to the list, and with the help
of a list member I finally got through, and he kindly forwarded the
message not only to the list, but also to NB's staff members Anne Putnam
