Michael,
I have installed Tame and am working with it. If you don't mind a little
hand-holding, here are my questions. I'm using the .ini and .tam file you
supplied.
1. Biggest problem: although cursor keys work great (with the "linear"
settings, a tiny bit jerky if you use cl,cr, etc--but I don't really care
about that), I'm having key repeat problems with the ctrl keys I use to
control cursor movement. E.g., ctrl-j puts out ll (linear left). If I hold
down ctrl-j, I get one left cursor movement, then a "j" every half-second.
If I hit the ctrl-j in individual keystrokes, everything's fine.
2. "Color change" doesn't do anything. Doesn't bring up any dialogue box or
whatever.
3. I can't open regular Xy (from my regular shortcut)--I get a NTVDM error.
If I open a DOS box, and do EDITOR.EXE, the Tame version comes up. I'm
going to have to uninstall Tame now to do my work.
