Adriano Ortile asks about the address book and email
databases in MS Internet Explorer mail. The way to solve
both problems is to switch to Netscape, which will solve
most other problems as well. In Netscape 4, the address book
is ABOOK.NAB, and there are choices in the File menu on the
Message screen (the one you see when you read messages) to
Compress Folders and to empty the trash directory of deleted
files. Neither action is instant, but compressing only takes
4-5 seconds, and emptying the trash, if you do it every few
weeks, is quicker than that.
