Xywrite4 on Android

Aloha,

I'm new on this list, and found just a few posts about running on Android.

I can say that Xywrite4 runs to near perfection with the Magic Dosbox
app, which costs a few dollars. (Lotus Agenda, Grandview 2, etc., all
run just as well). Of course, I'm not including printing in this
discussion, but there should be a way to print to file and get that to
a printer--- haven't tried it yet.

I run on a tablet (Asus ZenPad 3s 10 Z500M) but it also works on my
Pixel 1 phone (though too small a display for my old eyes).

It is best to have a bluetooth keyboard, one that is not crippled or
missing keys like ESC, and the input method that works best for me is
Gboard (which seems to handle physical keyboards well). Lacking a
physical keyboard, Magic Dosbox has a popup keyboard of its own that
is fully functional if a bit slow to use.

Surprising how useful Xywrite is compared to native Android apps. Or
maybe not so surprising.
