Thanks, Carl, that did the trick. Also thanks for pointing out
that I need the "/NV" with the default dz command--I had run
afoul of that and didn't know the solution.
Just for my edification, would you mind explaining the role of
the quotes in:
+">">;*; Construct the statement
(But don't tell Robert I asked, because he explained it for me
once before.)
And in:
>;*; Evaluate it (S/G 01 now contains, e.g., "May 16, 1998")
--what do you mean by "evaluate it"? Is the PV here functioning
like GT? What's the deal?
