Lisa,

I'm surprised that a virtual environment bug causes the Mac to seize up,
but I take you at your word that it does.

In that case, we'll let the DOS experts here at the forum get you up to
speed on DOS first, make sure you've got all the necessary dot.bat and
dot.sys and dot.com files, and then we'll see what the virtual
environment on the Mac has to offer. I'd help you on the DOS myself, but
others have already started to step you through it and I don't want to
trip you up. Anyway, I'm pretty rusty on DOS myself; I'd have to unpack
the manual and reread.
