Dear Mr. Distefano, I was able to reproduce the directory problem.  I reported
this as a bug and forwarded it to development for review. The only thing I was
not able to reproduce was the computer freeze when shelling out to DOS. Do you
freeze on both computers? Are you running under Windows? If you have any
additional information on this, please let me know
