In a message dated 97-05-31 07:57:53 EDT, you write:
≪ I can imagine putting ASCII 126 and 127 at a different
place on the Xy keyboard, but have you managed to convince Xy that the
French hairpins are not the signal for an in-text command? ≫
Exactly!
But you need a file editor such as PCTOOLS, SECMOD or such to exchange each
of the ≪ and ≫ characters with ASCII 126 (the "~" ) and the ascii 127
(looks like a little house) If you look in the Data section of the code, not
the programming section, you will see the ≪ and ≫ here and there. That is
what I changed... It works but you need to also work on the formatting
sections for spell checker and various places after you replace the ,≪ and
≫. The ones to change are in the part close to the screen logo--by the
serial number.
Cheers!
