The gov't is the monopolistic thug. A gov't is (validly) the only
institution that can legally use physical force (jails, fines, police--real
force, not asking you to buy its product). The thuggery here is that, via
the antitrust laws, the gov't initiates force against a peaceful,
non-coercive business. A proper gov't would use its force only in
retaliation against those who've resorted to force--e.g., criminals.

Here comes the cheap shot: you mean they should have to check with you
before introducing their next product?
Speaking of retaliation, I didn't initiate the discussion of political
topics here. And in the interest of bandwith conservation, I won't reply to
rebuttals--unless sent privately to me (which I invite). So y'all will just
have to assume I've got a comeback to any public comebacks.
