Wouldn't it be simple to assign ≪lb≫to a key, and the se/≪lb≫/ onto
another key? You could put in as many ≪lb≫ markers as you wanted, which
would require some repeated searches to get the one you intended. But if you
rarely need more than 3 bookmarks, this is a simple solution. (For those
needing more, an XPL pgm that actually keeps track of the bookmarks wouldn't
be very difficult to write.) You actually see the ≪lb≫ onscreen, so you
know where they are, but they are nonprinting. ≪nt≫ works the same way and
≪iv≫ is the invisible note version.
