XY4 Footnote Reference Sizing

XyWrite's default mode for footnote references in text is to superscript
them. Is there any way to print them instead in normal mode (such as when
using asterisks, etc.), either through a text or formatting command or,
failing that, through a printer setting?

(The SC command controls reference modes in the footnote itself but does not
affect the reference in the text.)
