Patricia --
My default page break command is out-of-the-box , and it went to the
printer as ASCII 12. So, too, whatever dictates my word wrap is plain
vanilla Xy 3+. I have done nothing special or inventive with my Xy4; it is
plain vanilla.
When I called TTG to complain that the outgoing conversions were useless,
they said that they now had an updated version of Xy4 which might fix the
problem, so I bought it. Even if you want to blame the problem on Gate$ or
IBM, TTG damned well ought to have known whether or not they had obtained
and implemented a fix. They were more interested in making another sale.
If you want to excuse TTG and blame all wrongs on the big bruisers, that is
your privilege. But given that TTG cheated me, I adhere to the view that
TTG deserved to go under.
