Thanks, David, I'll see if your suggestion works. And, yes, I already
told her to not save files that she accidentally opens that look funny.
However, the dict.spl file is not the one that looks funny. It is the
dict. file that has all of the strange code characters, and, after
comparing hers against mine, they appear to be identical.

I replied too quickly. Indeed, the dict.spl file IS the one with the
strange characters. I will have my colleague copy mine over hers.
However, when we compared hers with mine, they *appear* to be identical.
Why would it make a difference if she opens up her binary file and saves
or stores it back to the same folder, verses, deleting it and copying
into the save folder my binary file?
