The problem I had was installing XyWin under Windows 95, not
XyDos.

I did just load xy4 dos under windows 95, and i did load it from a
clean boot, and it works fine
anyone want to give me a primer in installing some of the great
xpl and add ons you guys have created? I have no idea where to
start.

Thinking back to the primeval past when I installed XYDOS4, I
foggily
remember that it wouldn't install until I did a clean boot so that no
TSR's are loaded. It probably has something to do with XY's
horse-and-buggy memory handling. I haven't the slightest idea
how you
do that with Win95, but someone may have a suggestion. In
any case,
it worked and I have begun each upgrade with a clean boot.
