Whatever the merits of the other observations, this is of course false.
XyWrite has a) Styles b) one can select text and then issue the relevant
command and the selected text is bracketed appropriately.

More generally. What I do with XyWrite is write. Occasionally, for a
friend, I will do assist in camera ready stuff, but my general attitude is
that I write others typeset. Thus most of Describe is useless for me.
Perhaps if I edited a newsletter or something. I can send faxes from
XyWrite, I can send email and I can write. It is my one surviving non-OS2
app. Would I be happier if a) there was XyOS2 (yes; and despite their
brilliant sales analysis, so would TTG. They'll flop in the Windows world
when they could have succeeded in the OS2world) b) if TTG bothered to fix
the formatting bugs in Xy4 (hint: yes). On the other hand, my copy of Xy4
isn't going to wear out.
