Establish a different soft hyphen at the beginning
of your STARTUP.INT | XWSTART.INT file, before you
load the file located in PROGRA~1, e.g.:

;*; Set Discretionary_Hyphen

BX load d:\PROGRA~1\xwset.dflQ2 ;*;
