I'll give it a try, though I might not get to it until tomorrow. Just to confirm: I assume I cut and paste OLDCLIP.FRM into the top of the XYWWWEB.U2 file. As for OLDCLIP.INF, does this need to be inserted anywhere as well, or should it simply be placed in my Xy4 directory where editor is? And having done this would this help frame be accessed by typing OLDCLIP at the command prompt?

Also, I assume that if I decide to use this I will have to do these changes for any future U2
update.

Once again, thanks for looking into this. I did a search through my old emails tonight and found 4
out of 43 which cause CLIP to crash. None have anything in common. Even so, as of now the standard
CLIP works fine for me, even with the crashes and slow speed. I have a work around for the crashes
which makes them almost irrelevant, and even at the slow speed CLIP works MUCH faster than Nota Bene
did.

If you have any other suggestions I'd love to hear them.
