Yes, the first edition was pre-Signature and even, IIRC, slightly
pre-Tyson's _XyWrite Revealed_. I remember this because these were
the two texts that gave me my first glimpses into the world of
customization and XPL (until CTRLCHAR.TXT and KBD-PM.TXT cracked it
wide open). I had no idea, until Robert revived it, that the
XyQuest Guide had been updated for Signature|Xy4. A handy reference
(even handier now that it's on disk), and a good place to pick up
the basics, and quite a bit more.
