Re: Shawn's screen colors

Shawn, thanks for your reply and your reasonable, indirect solution to my
query about graphic view. As it happens Carl Distefano had the direct
solution--the 14th variable of the default BX. Thanks, Carl, I had forgot
about that, and the index of the Customization Guide didn't get me to
right page. (You were kind not to point out that I could have got the
same information form the COLOR.DSP file, if I'd read it more
carefully... That file, by the way, is the template for Shawn's CYAN
version.). This kind of help and knowledge (I'm thinking of both of you)
is what this list is all about.

I'm very pleased to be able to adjust Shawn's color scheme to my needs by
simply replacing "3" with "112." Now graphical view looks like print on
paper (roughly) again. Even as someone who's used XyWrite for years, I'm
really impressed by this degree of differential control over screen
appearance. Next thing, I'll find out that I can have the upper- and
lower-case letters in different colors. Kudos to the person who had the
foresight to include a FOURTEENTH variable in BX. ("What? Fourteen
variables? Wouldn't three be enough...?")

Best,
Carlo

P.S. Just kidding about the upper-case and lower-case letters, Carl.
Please don't try it.
