I have to be real specific here: you removed JUST the
letters and guillemets ≪VA_NL≫ from the Xywwweb.inf file,
or the ENTIRE NL line?
Is commanding ABort enough to save and store this change?
I'm assuming I should make a copy of .inf before I start
fiddling with the original?
>I had func NL assigned to alt+Numeric Keypad Enter and ctrl+alt+Numeric Keypad Enter written as such (104=NI,NL). -- I tried also commenting out the Numeric-Keypad-Enter assignment in my keyboard file (returning the ≪VA_NL≫ into the .inf file) and the thing didn't crash then.
I have to be real specific here too: you deleted the
offender from .inf first, then commented out the 104 with NL
on it in .kbd, then restored the offender to .inf, and all
is well?
I figured I would just comment out the 104s that had NLs on
them, but that didn't do the job all by itself.

Especially for those of us who don't even have such a key.

Good luck to you too.
