 Sorry about that but I did not realize that it made a difference
 or that it would affect whether or not I obtained a database
 dialogue box. ;-)

 DataPerfect, ...a relational database that was to be a partner
 to WordPerfect, but was never marketed (to the best of my
 knowledge). It is actively supported on the net by its creator.
