Carl, I have tested your revised Meall program and I find it does work with all the switches. The one omission is that it fails to put the actual date with each merged file, though the name of the file appears. Any previous merged file should not contain .txt if you do not wish it be merged with the other files with that ending. To merge files with different filenames use this syntax c:\directory\*.txt |
