Anyway, there is a way: suspend the VM and make a copy of your WM machine folder with some backup
program or similar. In fact, I never use snapshots. When I have to restore a virtual machine, I go
to the context menu of the respective files and restore them (I use Acronis for this). Some
virtualization solutions may need extra steps to restore, but basically it is as simple as that.
