CD-ROMs

  Actually, 350 ms *is* fast for a CD-ROM; most of them run around 8 -
900 ms. Mine is a Toshiba that is rated 350 ms, and when it came out a
couple years ago it was the fastest on the market. I am not aware yet
of any faster ones, though they no doubt are out there at this point.
  Now if someone trips across one of those neat packages of CDs for
the CD-ROM drive that could be bought without buying the drive - that I
would be interested in knowing about. So long!
