The NirSoft viewer is a good program for a hasty peek into the font.
Here are a couple of other font viewers/managers that cost nothing and
can be useful in getting more detailed information from fonts.
Cfont Pro: http://veign.com/cfontpro/ (runs on W2K - Win 7, 8?). This is
a good option for W2K virtual machines!
Nexus font: http://www.xiles.net/nexusfont/ (run on XP or later)
