I had a private discussion with Bill on downloads. There are abandonware
sites that have W2K (e.g. http://winworldpc.com/library.shtml). For
installing W2K from a CD or files, you should first build an ISO image,
it makes the VM installation a snap. ImgBrun (http://www.imgburn.com/)
can make the ISO from a CD or a folder. I like this software a lot.

I was initially reluctant to take Kari's advice on W2K, but I am glad I
did. It is a much more satisfactory experience, as a XyWrite engine,
than XP. The sheer peace of mind you get from avoiding the activation
requirements and bugs in XP is more than worth it.
