No, I'm not suggesting that, but you could experiment with
that, setting a low autosave time so you won't have to wait long for the
crashes.

This is probably ridiculous, but what if you remove the final backslash? The point is that, for one reason or another, it can't write the autosave file.


Harry, the Autosave path is:

DF AOP=C:\XY\

C:\XY is where editor.exe  and the file I'm writing are located.

Are you suggesting that I Autosave outside XY or in a subdirectory of XY instead?
