Take a look at your OFfset VAriable (i.e., with the document *in P-L
display mode*, command "va/nv OF" -- you may not get an accurate value
unless you have the cursor in the text window when you poll this
VAriable). Are the two values identical? If not, that's your problem. The
first value is the left offset, second value is the right offset; and those
values are *swapped* on even-numbered pages (i.e. your initial values, set
in SETTINGS.DFL or STARTUP.INT or wherever, with "d(f) of=a,b", are deemed
to be for odd-numbered pages). Now, it's entirely possible that this is not
reflected in your on-screen appearance, but only in printed pages; that
depends on the value of the OffsetDisplay VAriable (va/nv OD), which is
normally zero, but if set to 1 plagues you by displaying the bloody
staggered even- and odd-offsets. Try setting "d OF=12DI,2DI" and "d OD=1",
just to view the effect. Lemme know...
