clipping

Just installed the latest XyWWWEB U2 file onto my Windows98 box,
and the clip program seems to be stuck on something, though it's
almost there. I'll define a phrase, issues clip , and
after doing some quick work, eventually the prompt is issued:
Clipped 43 bites
then, when I look in the Object Rexx directory, I find two
files: W2.ini, which contains the following:
/max /r /WIN /MAX /P:"XyWrite
IV"
IniFile=.stream~new('C:\PROGRA~1\ObjREXX\CLIP.INI');cb=.WindowsCl
ipboard~new;if chars(IniFile)>0 then
do;text=charin(IniFile,1,chars(IniFile)-1);cb~Copy(text);end;IniF
ile~Close;
and clip.ini, which in fact contains the very clipped text.
However, when I open Notepad, Control-V inserts the "old"
clipboard contents, not what I'd selected and clipped from
XyWrite.
Also, I was considering occasionally using Hacksaw from that
box, however, all I have is the OS/2 version, which I use all
the time. Perhaps someone would let me know if they have it &
wouldn't mind sending me copy of the WIndowz version.
