Double underline

I have been unable to get XYWrite (either Win or Dos versions) to double
underline with HP laserjet printers. Several inquiries to TTG have produced
nothing more than a claim that the HP printers do not support this function.
This contention is questionable, however, since the same printers readily
double underline for Word, Excel or any number of other programs. I have
tried using the EF 1024 command, but to no avail.

Does anyone know of a way to double underline with an HP printer?
