Tame 5.0 update
Herewith a quick report on a Tame 5.0 (only version available on
WebSite) anomaly I've encountered repeatedly this month.
Setup: XyDos4/U2/Tame .50 on XP-Pro Dell 650 Intel 09 Bios.
When you open multiple windows and start switching twixt them, the
left-right cursor movement slows to a crawl. Up/Down is fine, so in
PageUp/PageDown so is typing speed. Only left/right cursor slows.
Tame Website instructs invoking NumLock to try to clear, but Numlock
is inoperative when the slowdown takes hold of program. However,
hitting Ctrl-V (windows paste) clear the slowdown immediately and you
get XY message "Pasted 0 Bytes" on status line. Also after you
invoke Ctrl-V Numlock function returns. Obviously there is a tangle
between some keyboard handling function and the clipboard functions.
Can't figure out why opening multiple windows would "clog" one
discreet keyboard handling function. Trying to puzzle this out
because so far 5.0 is most stable version. Still have not tested
experimental 51a10t.
