You may remember a message from Carl DiStefano about 3 weeks ago concerning his
suite of XPL utilities entitled SMARTSET. He has just provided an update, v.
2.4, in the binary file SMARTS24.ZIP. It is available for downloading via
anonymous ftp from CCAT.SAS.UPENN.EDU.

After you log on, give the following commands: cd pub/eaan binary dir (to
verify the file is in your grasp) get smarts24.zip

Not only are the utilities useful, but if you have never explored XPL
programming beyond the Tyson level (itself pretty high), you will be interested
in the construction of a U2 help file. From the practical point of view, the
whole collection sits in a single file, saving a great deal of space.
