Thanks so much for your message. Nice hearing from you.
I have put your line in my SETINGS.DFL file in Xy4 for DOS, and I still get
the same point size for the footnote references. Any ideas? The very first
line in my STARTUP.INT says LOAD SETTINGS.DFL
