I don't buy weird hardware. In fact I don't buy hardware. The least
I can do, however, is take what the University gives me. But I
prefer not to be flamed if I point out, after pointing out that
neither NEC nor GATEWAY were willing to support their own products, that I tried
IBM before giving up, and then had to give up. The point is not
who is in the right, but why millions of people like me look at
how little initiative IBM takes on behalf of its PC products, and
then looks for more enterprising companies to deal with.
