" I was also fascintated by a comment someone made the other day. (Was it
" D. Say?) Someone mentioned an OS/2 version of XyWrite that was once used
" by some of the big Chicago newspapers. Does such a creature really
" exist?? How can I get my hands on a copy??

They Seybold Conferences (some scan Lexis/Nexis) used to
mention XYwrite as an engine, though not often with OS/2

" Well, a company called "Bestinfo" (sp?) had a native OS/2 DTP packages called
" Wave4. Very powerful and also used the XyWrite text editor engine
" Unfortunately, it was really designed for workgroups and had a pricetag to
" match.
"
" Adobe on the other hand, owns the code to the OS/2 version of Pagemaker and is
" still sitting on the Framemaker 5 code as well.
