If one could write a DOS TSR to do the keylogging, that would be a
better option. There are TSR keyloggers around, but I do not know if
there is something that fits the bill.

To that end, what about keylogging every keystroke to a simultaneously
open Windows Notepad (which would stay minimized and out of sight).
Then, when you hit ctrl-z in XyWrite, that does a control-z in Notepad
and replaces the current Xy screen with what Notepad then has.
