Re: US keyboard and European Accents

Carl,
It seems that I may have overlooked the need for more info on the GitHub page. Anyway, the AccentCompose manual has ample information on how to set up WinCompose: https://www.uskbd.eu/UserManual.pdf. Also the AccentCompose .XCompose file has a section 'Using AccentCompose with WinCompose' at the beginning of the file.
I have also amended the GitHub page with a section on 'Setting up
WinCompose for AccentCompose'. I hope this helps.
Everything else is the same as in the USKBD.EU version, only the
national language DLL installation is left out in the GitHub version.
In short, you set up WinCompose normally and replace its .XCompose file
with the AccentCompose .XCompose file (WinCompose context menu from the
notification area, show sequences, Edit button, paste the contents of
AccentCompose .XCompose file, save the file, press Reload, and you are
done).

Kari,

I've downloaded the files from your GitHub site and also installed the portable version of Wincompose. However, when I try to start wincompose.exe, nothing happens. The documentation on the Wincompose website is very sparse. Can you give some pointers on how to get going?

Many thanks.
