Re: Reverse engineering - confirmed for version 3!

Kenny Frank is at NB. He/they wouldn't release the assembler code?

Harry,

XyWrite-DOS: fixing bugs, adding or modifying features, and so forth. The 64-bit question is, who would be willing and able to do it, and can it be done without infringing intellectual property rights (assuming that the holders of such rights are still interested in enforcing them, the alternative being that these ancient DOS programs have effectively become abandonware)? These questions are clouded by uncertainty, but at least now we have the luxury of being able to ask them. The source code shines a light into what has hitherto been a black box.
