My overarching concern about "NB-Xy" is its (in)stability. I vaguely recall that the early
version we tried was quite rickety. Query whether this was a reflection of its being in early beta
or whether the instability is inherent in the editing engine itself? Either way, I'd hesitate to pay
money for it. Decompiling the test version doesn't answer the stability question, and would raise IP
issues that would require Nota Bene's signoff. Even if you obtained the source, relying on AI to
complete the job very iffy to me. That said, please keep us posted if you continue to explore the
possibilities.
